    1. Congrats to Ben Kiker! As a marketing consultant who worked with Interwoven for 2+ years, it was very cool to see the energy he brought to not only their marketing dept but the entire company. He is a charismatic leader who was obviously adored by his team at Interwoven and I know he™ll do great things at Jive.

    2. people are on the move, but only if they are already through the entrance door, I guess…

I am a Master of Science in International Business from Germany, currently finishing my thesis on social network marketing and facebook at the University of Maastricht (NL). I am currently looking for a job in the social media sphere, if possible in the US, and have the feeling that it is difficult, if not impossible, to get started in this business field without sufficient work experience. I worked 3 months in India for an consultancy and did two 6-months internships at Scholz&Friends (an advertising agency) and at Porsche AG in marketing communications and have some experience in the online world (through these internships and the university, that is).

Could you give me a hint where and how to look for a entry-job in the field you guys are experts in? I am ambitious, flexible and ready to do whatever it takes!

Thanks and all the best from Europe!
      stefan
