Hi Jeremiah
I've been playing with the upgrade of Zemanta. Some time-consuming teething problems but the company is still small enough to IM a solution over Skype!

So far you can only upload links to Flickr, Facebook, MyBlogLog, Twitter and Google Reader (though some are very difficult to save)but it is pretty wild.

I wrote my first posting with it yesterday and it feels like you have an overactive assistant sitting beside you!

Cheers

We build infastructure for major Canadian media companies (CTV, CBC, CanWest, Rogers) and have just finished and got phase one sign off on a beta community platform for CBC Galaxie Radio(our national broadcaster) called SocialRadio.

Listeners on SocialRadio can "tag" songs they hear which then puts the song in a locker. That tag can then be shared with "freinds" and or drilled into to for more information. The listener can also see what else other people who like that same tpye of music have also tagged (permission based). We also record things like "most tagged" (or least).

It is not public yet as it is being pitched to CBC's clients first. We built this to try and combat the listener's propensity to minimize the radio player once connected.

SocialRadio will also work by sending the unique identifier associated with the song to the alphanumeric shortcode "MUSIC" (68742) in Canada.

Thought you might find that interesting. When we go live, I can let you know if desired...

Love the feed, please keep it up. Thank you.
