[...] Jeremiah Owyang: If you haven’t figured out Twitter yet, it’s a chat room, and information and conversations are happening there before it hits blogs. In fact, even the press are getting stories by watching the conversation in Twitter.
Jeremiah

Tweeterboard offers some interesting features. The fact that it only tracks 2600 of the nearly three-quarter million Twitter users, though, severely limits its usefulness.

Twitter will get a lot more interesting and useful when we've got Twitter tools that are on a par with the state of current newsreaders.

One other comment - it seems risky to promote your Twitterboard feed without running it through something like Feedburner. You're putting a third party, that's beyond your control, between you and your subscribers.

Jeremiah,

I am thinking of a common repository / wiwki where as new Twitter tools get developed people can add them there. Your post is a good start to find these tools.

There are two other tools that I use to search for particular terms:

Tweetscan.com and terraminds.com

Tweetscan has a feature that I use everyday- You can specify upto 5 search terms and have a email digest delivered to you everyday. very useful for brand searches .

Next I hope tweetscan gives me a graph of the search results.

For Twittervision or Twittermaps I can think of a value on waiting rooms where people can look at the board and be privvy to conversations around the world on Twitter.

www.HelpWorldClimate.com
www.HelpWorldPoverty.com
www.HelpWorldPeace.com
www.HelpWorldWildlife.com

Again, thanks for your strategic take on all this social networking that's going on. Greg

Hi Jeremiah, thanks for all the work on Social Media, we follow you daily. Any suggestions/examples on how to use Twitter for a political party or a corporation trying to connect to customers?
