Jeremiah Owyang discusses how web tools and social media enable companies to connect with customers

Web Strategist on homepage of Marketing Profs

Ann from Marketing Profs enjoyed the Facebook Strategies post I did a few weeks ago, and has shared with the large and wide Marketing Profs community. The article is happily perched on the homepage of their site, quick go now! And thousands of Web Decision makers will be reading it, giving them knowledge to understand that changes that are happening in the web industry. If you’re reading this a few days later, it’s still available at: Marketing Profs: “What the Web Marketer Should Know About Facebook“. It’s an honor to be positioned here, thanks Profs!

Thomas (who’s doing quite well) talks about ROI after 90 days of blogging, and I think one of the things to measure (besides Technorati rank and traffic) is the reach you can get in front of the right audience.

I recently conducted a webinar with the Marketing Profs folks a few days ago on audio podcasting, video podcasting, and live streaming, check out the communities response (landed a nice 97% approval rating).

Your comments on my post concerning meeting your goals, and ensuring that you are having fun are dead on.

One of my growth measurements is having generated conversations about topics, and meeting great people such as yourself. During our conversation you mentioned that it was those types of interactions that you felt were a win for you, and those are the types of wins I am striving towards also.

Reading your blog I have learned about some great tools, and you have helped shape the direction and tools I use in my blogging efforts.

Now it’s time to write a follow-up article… “What you really REALLY should know about Facebook”.

“Facebook isn’t making any money at all”.

Not making money YET. Just wait, the money making lever hasn’t even been switched on.
