Blog Fight: Dave McClure vs Tech Dumpster
Buddy Dave McClure is a known blog ranter, his posts often entertain, make us laugh. If you’re color blind, you may not be able to read all his points as sometimes he uses different color fonts in his writing. Tech Dumpster wars on Dave and Dave responds to the challenge. Pull up a chair, this will be entertaining.

Blue Shirts are sooo Silicon Valley
In other non-news, in addition to my photo making the San Jose Mercury, they are now being used in this style website about Silicon Valley, yes Blue Shirts are the staple in Silicon Valley, I have several, how boring. Valleywag is about to puke.

Who made the gallery? Brian Oberkirch, Chris Yeh, Michael Arrington, Sean Ness, Dion Lim, Munjal Shaw, Brad Hunstable and James Kim. Pics below from the Techcrunch party.

Jobs for the Web Strategist
I’ve started to put together a resource for those that deliver Web Strategy at companies, here’s a custom query I created with SimplyHired’s tool of jobs for Web Managers, directors, UX managers, and Web Marketers. If you’re a recruiter you can advertise there, and it’ll show on my blog too (look right), it will be seen by the right crowd. How much should a senior Web Strategist in Silicon Valley make? 100k minimum in this market, I’d guess 120k is an average.

  • If you don't know Dave, I guess some people would be taken aback by his enthusiasm for companies that he enjoys (I personally like it). Dave is actually a good person to have on the side of a company for evangelism (he's a conference whore, after all).

SimplyHired: Thanks for installing Job-a-matic. Quick note: The widget won't display backfill until at least one job is posted (something we're working on fixing).

Be sure to check blog.jobamatic.com out as a resource as well.We update a lot of things about the product there...
