Off to Alexandria Virginia today
I’ll be speaking on Tuesday on a panel about business blogging to a great audience at Frost and Sullivan’s conference in Alexandria Virginia. I’ve attending many of these conferences at Frost and Sullivan, and each time, the crowd gets wiser and savier to social media. I remember in 2006 the resistance I received from many folks, and now, they’re wanting to know more and more.
I’m excited to see Lee again, who will also be on my panel. It will be moderated by Grier Graham, Vice President Sales & Marketing, TechDirt, Inc. with:
Peter S. Mahoney, Vice President, Worldwide Marketing & Operations
Speech Division, Nuance Communications, Inc.David Doucette, Director Internet Strategy, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts
Rick Short, Marcom Director, Indium Corporation
Lee Aase, Manager - Media Relations, Research Communications and New Media, Mayo Clinic
It’s going to be a long flight from SFO to Reagan airport, so I’ll be bringing along a few books to finish up reading, Everything is Misc and the Wisdom of Crowds.

Hey, Jeremiah, I’m looking forward to seeing you again, too. On my flights I’m listening to Made to Stick. This is my first Frost & Sullivan conference, but I’ve heard great reviews of the organization. See you tonight at the speaker orientation meeting!
I’ve got two things to share
bad news first: I had the dates wrong, i come in tommorow. whoops
Good news: We’ll still meetup at the conference on Tuesday
Jeremiah, we’re here in Alexandria and would love to buy you a meal and say hi!
Geoff kind of you!
