Seth Godin’s writing about the new role that’s appearing, he calls it the Community Organizer.
I’ve been talking about this for a while, and what it means, so please check out my post I wrote a while ago called Understanding the Community/Evangelist Role, and profiles of a few of my Favorite Folks.
Some of the traits that Seth states I’m very familiar with. That Seth is a smart guy.
It’s not an exhaustive list, but it’s a good start. I was teased yesterday in Twitter by Genuine (Jim Turner) on how many more Facebook groups I’m going to build. Well, I’m on point for building community on Facebook, and groups are just that.














I think Seth and I were on the same wavelengths as I had been writing this “idea” for a few days and having spoken to a few other marketing gurus I figured I was not just having a bad case of the crazy ideas, let me know what you think of it though ?

I’m calling it people weaving from now on, and having done it as a hobby for a few years, I think it’s time to start trying to get rid of my day job and do something fun and rewwarding instead
