Jeremiah Owyang discusses how web tools and social media enable companies to connect with customers

Join the Web Strategy Community, and yes I’m a hypocrite

I’ve created a Facebook group yesterday called the Web Strategy Group: Thought and Practice Leadership for the Modern Website.

It’s a place to further the conversation that we have here, to connect with peers and build a community.

A blog is a lot like one person on a stage and rest of the folks talking back. A social network is really like a mixer, where everyone is at equal value to converse, connect, and share.

If you’re one of the folks that are focused purely on Social Media Measurement, I created a secondary group.

If you don’t have a Facebook account, you won’t be able to see these groups, so you’ll have to register.

I’m such a hypocrite huh? ‘cuz in my last post I was ranting about Facebook, but I know it’s not going away, it’s going to gorw.
