Social Media Workshop builds confidence
Confidence in what? Confidence that Corporations, PR firms and other professionals are understanding the changes, and now adopting.
I was pleased to speak yesterday at the Social Media Workshop, I was also Ustreaming (who I advise) the event and man was I tired at the end of the day. If you really want a summary of the event, Brian Solis has constructed the The Future of Communications – A Manifesto for Integrating Social Media into Marketing. It’s a good read, and I can see he was influenced by many of the speakers. Dan had an interesting experience, he was meeting a lot of folks and was touched by Shel’s anecdote about trusting the cab driver.
What did I speak about? Well several people told me they really got my message when I told them that corporate websites are irrelevant, in fact some people say I’m a radical.
Here’s my slides, they’re really worthless without my explaining them, as their primarily talking points.
