Checking out “Website Magazine”, a periodical for the Web Strategist

Categories: Web Theory, Web ToolsPosted on June 1st, 2007

Did you know that magazines are actually holding up well compared to other mainstream media? That’s because their content is really ‘long tail’ and focused on a specific niche.

I’m checking out WebSite Magazine, one of the editors left a comment on my blog and I followed (I frequently do, and I’m sure you do too. Is it awkward that a magazine about the online world is on print? Not really, because they offer an online version as well.

They have a lot of interesting content, such as this list of articles for web managers, although some of them are primers, some of the content gets a bit more advanced. Unfortunately, I can’t access those articles as I’m not subscribed.

You can check out their sample issue (interesting page turning application).

Are you subscribed to this magazine? What type of articles do you think they should have? I’d love to see a bloggers (or community) corner that wraps-up all the latest topics in the blogosphere, or provides a snapshot of what’s happening in the web industry.
