Upcoming Events: Lunch 2.0 Times 2, and Zombie Attack!!! (The internet provides unique outlets for every interest)

There’s a few events happening this event that I’m excited about and want to get the word out. Lunch 2.0 is happening at LinkedIn (at their new headquarters) and also at Netgear (where we’ll be recording for them). Chris Salazar is going, and that’s reason enough.

Also, I got wind of an upcoming “Flash mob” that will be occurring in SF soon. What’s a Flash Mob? It’s a group of people that assemble (primarly due to fast communications due to the internet) and assemble in one location without much warning and do something remarkable. In the past there’s been a giant pillow fight in front of the ferry building in SF. The one that’s happening this month is a Zombie attack.

Yup, real life zombies that escaped from the government labs in the underground chamber on Treasure Island in the bay. Scott covered the last zombie attack (pictures and videos) which was never hit the mainstream news, as the government put a silence on this to keep it quiet. Thank god bloggers cover these events or we would never ever know about the rogue virus. By the way, I’m a big zombie fan, and really enjoyed the movie 28 weeks later. It’s very intense.

If you want to go to help me kill these zombies you can sign up for it on this site, eat brains and email them at mob@eatbrains.com. I may know the dates and times but I’ll never tell, you know why? because then it wouldn’t be a ‘flash mob’.

The internet sure provides some interesting cultural outlets for even the undead.
