PodTech in 10 ten mentions in CES Conversation Analysis
Categories: Events, Social Media, Social Media MeasurementPosted on April 10th, 2007(Image from Blog Business Summit Report)
The Blog Business Summit has done some analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods to find out the top buzzed brands at the massive 2007 CES show in Jan at Las Vegas.
Microsoft and Apple took the lead, however it’s interesting to note that PodTech is in that top ten brands mentioned. What’s amazing is that there are some pretty big brands associated around PodTech, so this is a proof point of how community outreach worked. We’ve also seen some research that correlates the terms “Seagate” (our sponsor for the event) and “bloghaus” you’ll see that the mentions from their brand had a spike during that time, directly tied to the event.
Have you seen my “clip report” of all mentions, blogs, podcasts, images, and videos of Bloghaus? Quite a bit of data was created during the event, resulting in the impacts on the study.

[...] Jeremiah has a link to the recent social media survey that shows which brands dominated CES. BlogHaus at CES was a community of bloggers, podcasters, and videobloggers. I’d like to personally thank Seagate and their team specifically Bill Watkins. Bill is a CEO with amazing vision. Kudos to Seagate. [...]
