PodTech is Designed to Share
At PodTech, (where I work) we’re getting success with our new player. We’re about sharing, distribution, and want you to take the content that is created, put on your blog or websites. Creating interesting content and sharing it is more important than ‘traffic’ or ‘page views’ to the PodTech site.
It’s easy to share the player, I simply press the orange “Share” button, grab the code and embed in Wordpress. There are some settings within wordpress that may need to be altered to drop in the code.
Loren gives the details if you’d like to learn how to share the player:
Oh, and I’ve started to interview thought and practice leaders in the web industry, all of my interviews are tagged ‘interview’. My first video was at the Michael Dell roundtable, there are three more live, eight more with our editors, and I filmed at list 10 interviews at WeMedia in Miami. I’m still trying to figure out the medium, so feel free to leave comments or feedback at anytime.

Jeremiah,
Why should someone use the Podtech player over embedding YouTube videos? Is it unique content you are offering, or what?
Yup! PodTech content is unique, check out some of the interviews of John Edwards, Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Thomas Hawk, John Schwartz, and others. These are all PodTech exclusive. (except sometimes Loren uploads his videos to YouTube in addition to the PodTech player)
If you go to podtech.net you’ll see there’s several channels (and more in the works) from our content producers. We’re selective in who can upload content to the network (we sign contracts, and that sometimes includes revenue), email me if you wanna know more, I’ll connect you to the right folks at PodTech.
Feel free to use YouTube, Blip, Revver, and PodTech. Different tools with different content and purposes.
Does that clear it up? Thanks for asking.
I ran into someone at the CommunityNext conference who said they liked the quality of the player, but the size was too small. interesting!
