Digg Users getting paid by PR firm, Jason Calacanis to Clean up the Trash

Jason, ex employee of Netscape has learned that a few PR firms are paying users in the Digg community to submit and vote up stories.

Jason is on a crusade to find out which PR firms are doing this, if you know of any, please help the community out this problem. He’ll even pay you $100 dollars. Netscape has a similar type feature, this impacts their credibility and the rest of the social media industry.

That’s gaming the system and disrupts how social media is supposed to work, those nasty humans. Go get ‘em Jason!
Related note: Luis thought I was too harsh, as I have recently been critical of humans (people), esp around wikis.
