Marshall Kirkpatrick joins SplashCast

Categories: Web IndustryPosted on December 11th, 2006

Great deal for SplashCast who earned former TechCrunch writer Marshall Kirkpatrick. SplashCast has a Channel type media player, so content can easily be syndicated to embedded players on webpages. I’m thinking it’s like a media player ‘Include’. Marshall wrote this previous analysis of SplashCast a few weeks ago. More discussions on Techmeme.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out, I’m sure that blog aggregators will continue to embed audio and video playback capability. With Marshall providing some editorial support, he could provide a unique overlay to the streaming content.

Apparently, Marshall has left in good relations, it was great to see Michael Arrington leave the second comment in congrats.

Congrats Marshall and SplashCast!
