Jeremiah Owyang discusses how web tools and social media enable companies to connect with customers

I finally met Christopher Coulter (Yup Scoble’s Troll is my Colleague)

I didn’t realize it till introductions were made, but I finally got to meet Christopher Coulter today.

Christopher Coulter is Robert Scoble’s blog troll. I’ve been following him most of this year, (they’ve been debating for years he’s even made Valleywag) during the early part of the year he was Scoble’s Troll, and he really got on my nerves. Robert, has an open door policy with his online and offline behavior and even had Christopher over to his house. I was shocked.

I was shocked yet again when I found out that I was going to be working WITH Chris.

As it ends up, he’s not a grade A jerko, he’s actually a pretty nice guy. He’s been hired as he has a lot of experience with video editing. Chris actually has the same phone as I, and he showed me how to ‘hack’ into the system to change some of the core settings. Pretty clever, we’ll get along great.

Actually for a period of time, I thought Christopher was actually a fictional character that Robert made up as he never showed Chris’s real personality and he didn’t have a blog. PR Stunt? Detractor for drama or balance? I was just letting my imagination run wild.

Anyways, the truth is out, Christopher is a real flesh and blood person and his bark is MUCH louder than his bite.

I might actually enjoy working with him…as long as he doesn’t troll my blog, heh.

Tell Christopher Coulter that I like to meet him someday. I like to trade audio and video editing tips and ideas with him. And I would like to interview him on my podcasting. Cool?

Consider I like to interview Coulter before I even ask Scoble.

    Not too bad afterall, Jeremiah.
