The most interesting part of the Deliciious bday party held at Yahoo was the facinating conversations. I was able to learn more about the upcoming social media release, upcoming blogger events, learn more about Zooomr from Kristopher. Thanks to Yahoo! for food, giveaways.

I don’t contribute to Delicious that much, I’ve only added a few strategic tags for my employer, I did talk about how to use Delicious for a web marketing research, it can help provide intelligence about folksonomy which could aid in SEO/SEM tactics.

Holding events like this is one of the best forms of Community Marketing, it’s low cost, brings your passion users and is great way for the social media folks to get the word out.
