You new camera takes good pics. I should have looked into getting a camera with image stabilization. Since new camera, the SD600, is much lighter and thinner than my old camera, I keep moving it when I squeeze the button to take a photo. I end up with blurry photos.

You're right, the Canon's are nice. The SD700 has image stablization, which I'm hoping is going to help me!

Debbie

Thanks for the support, the Canon appears to be working well. David Dalka, one of the folks I met in Chicago has contacted the CTA (Chicago Transportation Authority)to see if it was turned in.

Sooo sorry you lost your camera. What a bummer! I've got the newish Canon PowerShot SD450 and I love it. I love the "big screen" for taking pics and also viewing them after. I forget the price but a bit less (I think) than what you quoted above. Anyway, I love the Canons. Can't go wrong. Hope all is well.

Sorry to hear about your camera, but look on the bright side - you're getting a new camera! My digital camera, a Canon S200 which I've had for years, died on me two weeks ago. It just stopped working for whatever reason. I was due for an upgrade anyway. I replaced it with a new Canon SD600. Its a good camera and it isn't much different from the SD700. I think any of the Canon Digital ELPH cameras will meet your requirements.
