Hi, Mick from Zapr here. Some quick points about why we're different from IM.

1. You can share folders.
2. You can share multiple files.
3. (the big one) You share with Zapr links, normal URLs, which last longer than a single share. That means you can put the link on Myspace, a blog, etc.
Like this;
http://zapr.net/bobzapr/z/root
4. The reason why a link is possible, is because Zapr is peer-to-peer AND peer-to-browser. This means that the person viewing or getting the files do not need to have Zapr. It's like a blog reader doesn't need the blogging software.

Hope you can give it a try.

Cheers,

Mick

Jeremiah,
Pando seems, in a lot of ways, like shooter that Xavier Casanova is working on with his crew at Perenety. Not really being into P2P networks or distributed storage networks, how do you think the two are different?

Hi, Mick from Zapr here. Some quick points about why we're different from IM.

1. You can share folders.
2. You can share multiple files.
3. (the big one) You share with Zapr links, normal URLs, which last longer than a single share. That means you can put the link on Myspace, a blog, etc.
Like this;

4. The reason why a link is possible, is because Zapr is peer-to-peer AND peer-to-browser. This means that the person viewing or getting the files do not need to have Zapr. It's like a blog reader doesn't need the blogging software.

Hope you can give it a try.

Cheers,
