I’ve had trouble describing myself to my friends and family, one web professional called me a Web Hippie, and my profession was recently branded as an Evil Liar. Whew, lots of options to pick from there.  Here’s a few interesting things that I’ve been told by some seasoned and senior executives, I don’t have the exact words, but I’ll paraphrase:

“…someone who’s figuring out new ways to communicate to customers”

“Someone who’s keeping an eye out so we don’t get into trouble (blogosphere listening and response)”

“A young and fresh mind that gives us new ideas”

I really enjoyed each of those three responses –of course not everything is perfect nor positive, I get equal amount of suggestions and critiques as accolades.  It’s nice to be appreciated, and it’s nice to add value.
