Heading to Boston: Internet Strategies Symposium

Categories: EventsPosted on July 11th, 2006

On Wed I’m heading off to Boston to be a panelist under the direction of David Berkowitz at the Frost and Sullivan Internet Strategies Symposium. It’ll be a 6 hour flight, I’ll be doing some work on the plane, as well as a few things for this blog I’ll be working on.

I’ll be on the panel with bud Shel Israel, I’m sure he’ll get the majority of the questions. I know Ted Murphy from MindComet/Payperpost will be there as well –good times.

What should the goals for the blog be?

How do you measure the success?

What are some examples of those who’ve done it right?

Actually, my real title has been changed since this was submitted, it’s “Manager, Online Community Marketing”. What does that mean? It means I lay out plans to use online tools (like blogs, wikis, and other social media) to build communities between customers and employees. I got to define my own role, and even wrote the job description –kickin’
